Dito TeleCommunity has announced the need for DITO SIM registration in compliance with Government Republic Act No. 11934, also known as the SIM Registration Act (SRA), aimed at preventing crimes and fraudulent activities. All existing and new SIM users must register their SIM cards following these guidelines to avoid deactivation by the government.

For new users, after inserting the SIM card into the phone, an SMS with a registration form link will be received. Existing users can register their SIM cards using any of the DITO SIM activation methods listed below. This registration is crucial for protecting against online scams, theft, spam texts, fake news, smishing, and other fraudulent activities.

DITO SIM Registration Online Methods

The SIM registration Dito process offers three simple methods for both prepaid and postpaid users. These methods are just as straightforward as registering a Globe or Smart SIM. Here are the ways you can register SIM Card Dito:

You will need to verify your identity using a government-issued ID card.

1. Click on the “Camera” icon to take a clear photo of your ID card, making sure all details are readable. (See the list of accepted ID cards below.)
2. After uploading the ID card photo, upload a selfie for additional verification.

Note: Please take a clear photo following these guidelines:

• No shadows on your face.
• Do not cover your face with hats or dark lenses.
• Ensure nothing is blocking your face.
• The photo should show a front view of your full face from shoulders up.
• Keep your eyes open and look directly at the camera.
• Avoid blurry pictures.
• Do not use filters or enhance the photo.

• Fill out your personal information form. Once completed, click the “Proceed” button.

Note: Your personal information must match your legal ID as issued by the Philippine government.

• In the next section, DITO Telecommunity lets you edit your information to fix any mistakes in your personal details.
• After reviewing your information, check two boxes to agree to the terms and conditions.

SIM Card Registration Deadline

For Existing Customers: If you are already a DITO subscriber and have not registered your SIM, your SIM card will be automatically deactivated for calls, texts, and internet access. The deadline to register is July 25, 2023.

For New Users: You must register your SIM card after inserting it into your mobile phone’s SIM slot.

Troubleshooting Photo Upload Issues
